City and Trekking bikes are heartland Dawes bikes & possibly the most common two wheeled sight on the roads across Britain’s towns & cities- and for good reason. Upright alloy frames gives a light, comfortable & safe ride. Each bike is kitted out with mudguards to keep the worst weather at bay & a rear carrier means you can safely transport your belongings. Great for commuting or for a day exploring country lanes with the family.
If you are looking at buying a bike to ride around the town on don’t fall into the MTB trap! Most mountain bikes are designed with frames & gears specifically for riding over difficult terrain- you’ll end up going nowhere while twiddling away at the pedals & if it’s raining you’ll have a wet stripe up your back.
