The Dawes 2008 range of bikes is possibly their most impressive to date. Designed and manufactured using a combination of British bicycle building heritage and cutting edge technology, a Dawes cycle is more than capable of the task in hand. The Galaxy Twin is a fantastic touring tandem. Based on the original Galaxy but with all the things you need for when two’s company. The Galaxy Twin has drop front bars for comfort and a suspension seatpost for the rear rider. It is also equipped with Truvativ cranks, 27 speed Shimano XT rear mech and a Quad mechanical disc brake on the rear. Just as you’d expect from a tourer the Galaxy Twin is fitted with full pannier racks, front and rear mudgaurds making it the ideal bike for those long rides.
